Founded in 1884 by Dr. Russell Conwell, Temple College became Temple University in 1907.

 

Temple University has evolved into a public, comprehensive research active institution with top-ranked programs in the sciences as well as business, psychology, art and medicine. With more than 39,000 students Temple is a great place to gain valuable global experience.

Temple is located in historic and culturally active Philadelphia, the 6th largest city in America, and the birthplace of the USA.

Philadelphia is centrally located with easy commutes to Washington, DC and New York City. International students are housed in campus dormitories or will receive help in finding other lodging in Philadelphia.
